ABOUT US

Our Mission
Our mission is to make a positive impact in our community by bringing together 100 women who each donate $100 quarterly to support local charities in Lake County, IL. Through our collective efforts, we aim to make a significant difference in the lives of those in need and create a better future for our community.
How we got started
Have you ever felt that the needs in your community are too big for you to make a difference? We want to help, but many of us think, “Will it matter?” Abby Stancik asked herself that question and decided to find a unique answer.
Abby recognized how fortunate she was with a loving family and a fulfilling career as a Certified Financial Planner. Yet she wanted to do more to help other people.
Abby’s goal was to bring together 100 women who could make a positive change in their community. With a gift of only $100 each quarter of the year, the quarterly impact would be $10,000 or more. That’s how 100 Caring Women of Lake County was born.
Abby drew inspiration from a group she joined while living in Lorain County, Ohio. It was a giving circle, one of many that exist across the country. She then realized the difference she could make would be starting a similar giving circle in Lake County.
The goal is that together, 100 Caring Women of Lake County could have a profound impact on the community. And the best part? Different charities will benefit each quarter. So, here’s YOUR chance to make a big difference and meet other caring women who want to do the same. Come join us!
